LCG Congratulates CEO Artis of Civility Management Solutions on 2015 Resiliency Award

WASHINGTON, Sept. 30, 2015LCG, a leading provider of innovative grants management and technology solutions to federal agencies based in Rockville, today offers congratulations to Laurie Sayles Artis, CEO and president of Civility Management Solutions for being honored with the 2015 Resiliency Award. Hosted by the Washington D.C. Veteran Affairs Medical Center, the Resiliency Awards recognizes women veterans who have triumphed over adversity and promoted resiliency within the community.

LCG partners with Civility Management Solutions to provide government customers with outstanding services and support. Civility Management Solutions (CMS) is a Veterans Administration certified service disabled veteran, woman, minority owned small business based in Bowie, Maryland.

Artis was selected out of 57 candidates to receive this award to represent, according to the Center for Women Veterans, “women who have answered a need for Women Veterans and served as a change agent to support Women Veteran resiliency as they conquer adversity.”

The awards were presented by Elisa Basnight, Esq., director for the Center for Women Veterans in the Washington D.C. Veteran Affairs Medical Center’s auditorium. The one-day event helped raise awareness and celebrated women Veterans’ stories of compassion and strength and was one of five events held across the nation recently to demonstrate VA’s commitment to women Veterans.
