LCG, Inc. VP Carey Parrett Awarded 2015 National Grants Management Association Private Sector Impact Award

Award honors a career dedicated to supporting and enhancing grants management throughout multiple federal agencies

ROCKVILLE, Md. (April 22, 2015) – LCG, Inc., a leading provider of innovative grants management and technology solutions to federal agencies, today announced that its vice president, Carey Parrett, has been selected as the recipient of the 2015 National Grants Management Association (NGMA) Private Sector Impact Award. Each year, the award recognizes one individual within the private sector who has made exceptional contributions in advancing the field of grants management.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to have been selected by my peers at NGMA to receive this award,” said Parrett. “Through LCG’s partnerships with leading federal agencies, I have been given the distinct privilege to both apply grants management best practices, as well drive innovation throughout the grants management lifecycle that supports some of our nation’s most important missions.”

With nearly two decades of experience in the federal discretionary grant review environment, Parrett has led numerous teams through the federal grant review process, from announcement drafting to final award decisions. He has directed the support of multiple high-profile and politically sensitive grants reviews, including those under the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

"We are extremely proud of Carey and cannot think of an individual more deserving of this award," said Raymond C. Tye, chief operations officer of LCG, Inc. "Throughout his career, Carey has consistently improved upon processes that have proven scalable in a wide variety of review environments, increased quality control standards with new methodologies, enhanced grants review reporting and increased transparency throughout the grants lifecycle."

The Awards Recognition Program was held during the membership meeting at the beginning of NGMA’s 2015 Annual Grants Training Program at the Crystal Gateway Marriot, in Arlington, VA, on Wednesday April 22.
