LCG Expands Key Partnership with USDA to Enhance Agricultural Innovation

ROCKVILLE, MD (October 4, 2024)

LCG inc., a leader in IT consulting, modernization, and transformation services to the Federal Government, is excited to announce the capture of a win extending their relationship within the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Services (FNS). FNS aligns with the USDA mission by working to end hunger and obesity through the administration of 15 federal nutrition assistance programs including the Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC), the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Food Distribution Programs, and several adult and child feeding programs, most notably the National School Lunch Program. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for our organization and reinforces our commitment to supporting government agencies in delivering exceptional services for the public.

Within FNS, LCG will be supporting the Technology Division Innovations Branch. The scope of this new contract includes governance and discovery working closely with the FNS innovation committees, developing roadmaps, pilots for AI, and new innovative solutions. Their forward-looking approach and dedication to excellence align perfectly with the USDA’s mission to enhance the quality of life for Americans and ensure food security across the nation.
