LCG Achieves CMMI Maturity Level 3 Appraisal – Commitment to Quality and Improvement

Rockville, MD (August 16, 2024)

LCG, Inc. announced that it has been appraised at level 3 of ISACA’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®). CMMI is a proven, outcome-based performance model and the globally accepted standard for improving capability, optimizing business performance and aligning operations to business goals.

An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and improved over time.

LCG promotes a culture of quality, consistency, and continuous process improvement. The CMMI framework validates and solidifies LCG’s commitment to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through its rigorous, formal processes and standards.

As a technology-agnostic, the sustainment of our CMMI certification allows us to remain a leader in client delivery and competitive as a federal contractor. The recertification recognizes LCG’s ability to execute large-scale projects, using well-defined processes to achieve consistent results.

In response to the reappraisal, LCG’s Chief Business and Strategy Officer, Melissa McCullough commended LCG personnel for their contributions and dedication, which led to successful recertification:

“Thank you to our exceptional Quality, Project Management Office, Training, and Service Delivery teams, who worked diligently to complete the audit process. We appreciate all of those whose hard work made this appraisal process a success!”
